Trademark Search (Advanced) is not available yet. The scope below is the plan and may change; the final scope is confirmed at launch, and every report will state exactly which registers were and were not searched.

Who it is for

  • Businesses planning to sell in the EU or Australia as well as the US
  • Founders with a logo, not just a name, to check
  • Brand agencies clearing marks for international clients
  • Companies preparing a Madrid or national filing who want a first look at conflicts

What it does

Everything in Trademark Search (Basic), plus a comparison of your logo with US marks and word-mark searches of the EU and Australian registers. Your logo is read by AI, which assigns USPTO design-search codes; live US marks sharing those codes are shortlisted and their images compared with your logo. It is a screening aid, not a clearance opinion.

Key capabilities

  • Everything in Trademark Search (Basic): US federal word marks, similar spelling and sound, status, class and goods
  • US logo similarity: design-code shortlist plus AI visual comparison of mark images, with scores
  • European Union word-mark search through the EUIPO register (EU trade marks and international registrations designating the EU)
  • Australian word-mark search through IP Australia
  • An explicit list of registers not covered, in every report

How it works

  1. Create an account and, once the search launches, enter the mark and goods, and upload your logo image.
  2. Pay for the search by card, or apply a voucher.
  3. Primoris runs the US word-mark search and web check, as in Basic.
  4. It searches the EU and Australian registers for the mark and its variants.
  5. Your logo is assigned design codes by AI, US marks sharing those codes are shortlisted, and their images are compared with your logo.
  6. Primoris verifies the citations against the source records and drops anything it cannot verify.
  7. Your report is ready usually within one hour, sometimes up to 24 hours. You get an email, and the report (web view and PDF) is in your account.

What we search

Each report also states, in its Search Scope and Limitations section, the date each source is current through. See Sources for all products.

What you provide

The mark
Name or phrase, plus the goods or services it will cover.
Logo image
Optional but needed for logo comparison; without it, design-mark similarity is not performed. Final file types and limits are confirmed at launch.
Business description
A sentence or two.

Uploaded files are deleted once the report is complete.

What it does not cover

  • Registers other than the US federal register, the EU (EUIPO) and Australia (IP Australia): no WIPO Madrid or Global Brand Database, no UK, Canada, Japan, China, Korea or other national offices
  • State trademark registrations
  • Unregistered use beyond a short, unverified web check
  • Marks without a design code or image in logo comparison
  • Legal advice, or an opinion on registrability, infringement or clearance

Risk rating explained

Every report opens with a Risk Factor Rating. The words, not the colour, carry the meaning. The rating is a screening aid, not a legal finding.

HIGH RISK
A very close mark, identical or nearly so in spelling, sound or appearance, is live in a register searched and covers related goods or services.
MEDIUM RISK
Related marks exist with meaningful differences, such as different goods or a weaker resemblance.
LOW RISK
No close mark was found in the registers searched. Registers not searched are listed in the report; absence of results is not proof that nothing exists.

Primoris reports are automated screening reports. They are not legal advice and not an attorney opinion, and no attorney-client relationship is created. A gap in the results does not prove that nothing exists. Talk to a registered patent or trademark attorney before filing or relying on a report.
